Cycling Achievements
Kelly Anne Erdman is a 1992 Cycling Olympian who proudly represented Team Canada from 1985 to 1992. Her dedication to the sport earned her a place in the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame in 1999. Over nearly a decade of elite competition, Kelly Anne built a legacy defined by grit, consistency, and world-class performance.
Cycling Career Highlights:
- 3 Gold and 1 Silver Medal – 2005 World Masters Games
- 4th Place – 1990 World Cycling Championships
- Silver Medal – 1987 Pan American Games
- 12 National Titles – Canadian Cycling Championships (1985–1992)
- 7-time Competitor – UCI World Championships (Road & Track)
Recognition & Teaching
Kelly Anne Erdman was awarded the Ryley-Jeffs Memorial Lecture Award in 2015 by Dietitians of Canada for recognition as a pioneer in the field of sports dietetics in Canada. She has contributed extensively to the education of future professionals and coaches, serving as a sessional instructor in Kinesiology at the University of Calgary (2017–2021) and as a longtime lecturer with the Canadian National Coaching Certification Program (1993–2014).
